Hi Friends! My name is Michelle and I am the owner/creater of Green Flora Handmade. I am so happy you found me! I reside in the cornfields and sun kissed prairies of Iowa, along with my children, chickens and doodles. 

I have a love and adoration for the old, the beautiful, and the sustainable. I started my journey as a conservation biologist and ended up melting this together with my love of sewing. Together I have formed my own little sustainble creation. 

I use a range of used textiles such as quilts, linen tablecloths, feedsacks, vintage fabric and anything else that needs mending/saving. Natural Dye is a passion of mine so you will see various designs I do when my flowers are in bloom.
